Lightning at Maple Leafs | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Maple Leafs -120 Favorites

A battle between two of the Atlantic Division’s top teams will take place Thursday in Toronto when the Maple Leafs host the Lightning. Tampa Bay has lost in each of the first two stops on a six-game road trip as favorites both times while the OVER is on a 3-0 run to start the season. Toronto is coming off a 3-2 loss to defending Stanley Cup champion St. Louis on Monday as a -140 home favorite, the team’s second straight defeat after two wins.

Ducks at Penguins | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Penguins -155 Favorites

The Ducks will try to stay unbeaten when they visit the struggling Penguins in the second game of a four-game east coast road trip. Anaheim has allowed only one goal in each of the first three games with the UNDER going 3-0 behind goaltender John Gibson, beating Detroit 3-1 on Tuesday as a -125 road favorite in the opener of the trip. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh has dropped two of its first three, falling 4-1 to Winnipeg as a -165 home favorite on Tuesday.

Blues at Senators | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Blues -205 Favorites

The Blues continue a four-game road trip after topping the Maple Leafs, with their first three all resulting in 3-2 scores that finished UNDER the total. The Senators have dropped four of five games in the series after winning three of the previous four along with five of seven. But they are also still looking for their first win this year following a 4-1 home loss to the Rangers as +115 home underdogs on Saturday.

Capitals at Predators | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Predators -145 Favorites

The Capitals will look to snap a six-game series skid versus the Predators in the opener of a two-game road trip. Washington will visit Dallas next on Saturday and also try to break a two-game losing streak overall after dropping a pair of one-goal games as a favorite each time. Nashville has won two of its first three games at home, with the OVER cashing in all of them.

Sharks at Blackhawks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Blackhawks -125 Favorites

The Sharks welcome back former captain Patrick Marleau after signing him to a one-year deal and hope his veteran presence can help them end a winless start at 0-4. More good news for them is that they have played three more games than the Blackhawks, who return home from a 4-3 loss to the Flyers last Friday as +105 underdogs in the Czech Republic.

Flames at Stars | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Stars -115 Favorites

The defending Pacific Division champion Flames have gotten off to a rough start this season at 1-2 following a 4-3 overtime loss to the Kings as heavy -235 home favorites on Tuesday. They also lost their season opener on the road to the Avalanche as +110 underdogs a week ago in a playoff rematch. The Stars have not fared much better though, ending their three-game skid to open the year with a 4-3 upset of the Capitals as +130 road dogs on Tuesday.

Bruins at Avalanche | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Avalanche -120 Favorites

The Bruins will attempt to complete a perfect road trip to start the season at 4-0 if they can get past the unbeaten Avalanche. Boston held on for a 4-3 victory at Vegas on Tuesday as a +115 underdog after overcoming an early 2-0 deficit with four unanswered goals. Colorado will be playing for the third time during a four-game homestand and defeated Calgary and Minnesota by two goals apiece to cash the puckline for its backers both times.

Golden Knights at Coyotes | OddsShark Matchup Report

Opening NHL Odds: Golden Knights -145 Favorites

The Golden Knights look to rebound from their first loss of the season against a Pacific Division opponent in the Coyotes. While Vegas is 6-3 all-time in the series, Arizona has won the past two meetings as big road underdogs. The Golden Knights are a perfect 4-0 on the home ice of the Coyotes though, closing as road favorites three times dating back to 2017.

Also on today’s schedule: Red Wings at Canadiens, Oilers at Devils, and Wild at Jets.
