As first reported by PuckPedia, the contract will see Elson make $725,000 in the NHL and $115,000 in the AHL.

Elson, 28, was signed by the Calgary Flames in 2011 after going undrafted. He joined the Red Wings organization as a free agent in 2017.

Since then, he’s played the last three years with the Grand Rapids Griffins scoring 36 goals and 82 points in 190 games.
