It’s a busy Thursday night in the NHL schedule with nine games on tap. There are plenty of quality options to choose from, including some red-hot lines facing some struggling defenses. I’ve highlighted my top high-priced, medium-priced, and value stacks below to help you narrow it down. Best of luck!

High-Priced

NYR 1 – Artemi Panarin ($6,300), Mika Zibanejad ($7,800), Pavel Buchnevich ($4,900)

The Rangers top line has already combined for six goals and 14 points in three games this season. They’re going up against an 0-4-2 Devils team on Thursday that is still searching for their first win of the season. The Devils are allowing 4.50 goals per game and have been outscored 29-13 this season. The Rangers will be facing goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood, who will be making his first start in three games. Zibanejad is the key player player here, as he’s picked up right back where he left off last year with four goals and four assists through three games. Panarin and Buchnevich should also offer great value, as the Bread Man has racked up two goal and two assists this season, while Buchnevich has contributed a pair of helpers. The Rangers have played the fewest amount of games in the NHL, and the top-line will be well-rested and ready to feast on a struggling New Jersey squad.

Medium-Priced

Buffalo 1 – Victor Olofsson ($5,800), Jack Eichel ($7,600), Sam Reinhart ($5,500)

Although the Sabres played Wednesday night in Anaheim, this is too juicy of a matchup for one of the hottest lines in the NHL. The Kings are currently allowing an NHL-worst 4.67 goals-per-game and haven’t had an answer for opposing teams top lines this season. Buffalo’s top trio has been dominant at 5v5 with a 59.5 CF%, but they’ve also been electric on the power play. The Sabres currently have the second-best power-play in the NHL, operating at a whopping 35.7 percent, and are going up against the fifth-worst penalty killing unit in the NHL. The Kings PK is operating at just 65% and likely won’t have an answer for Victor Olofsson, who had another power-play marker Wednesday to give him six tallies with the man advantage on the season. All three players in this stack play on Buffalo’s first power-play unit and should provide value. The Sabres were held to just two goals against Anaheim, and will be motivated to bounce back against Jack Campbell, who has gotten off to a rocky start with a .904 save percentage this year.

Value Stack

Montreal 3 – Jonathan Drouin ($4,700), Jesperi Kotkaniemi ($4,300), Joel Armia ($4,200)

The Wild will be looking for only their second win of the season when they visit Montreal on Thursday. The Canadiens are looking to bounce back at the Bell Center following a 3-1 loss to the Lightning in their last outing. Jonathan Drouin is having a very strong start to the season with two goals and six points in six games. The speedy forward was on a five-game point streak to begin the season, but that came to an end against one of the NHL’s top teams on Tuesday. Kotkaniemi has scored twice this season, while Armia has three goals and an assist. This line has shown chemistry this season and all three players provide value against a struggling Wild team that is giving up 4.17 goals-per-game. The speedsters Drouin and Kotkaniemi have especially looked lethal together, while Armia has goal-scoring ability. With players such as Artturi Lehkonen and Phillip Danault playing in the top-six, there’s value in turning to Montreal’s “third line” at home against Minnesota.
