Jesse Puljujarvi has been cleared from COVID-19 protocols and is eligible to return to Edmonton Oilers activities.

Puljujarvi was placed on the list Thursday morning ahead of a game with the Montreal Canadiens that also saw Mikko Koskinen held out due to precautionary reasons.

Finnish reporter Jouni Nieminen reported Puljujarvi’s first test Thursday gave an “ambiguous result” and that he later tested negative.

Puljujarvi remained in Montreal and has since returned to Edmonton on a chartered flight.
