Goaltending is looking good, the special teams are firing on all cylinders, the big guns are scoring, and the depth is improving. The Oilers are first in their division and still trending upwards in my opinion. Tonight presents a tough task though. They’ll be facing a San Jose Sharks team that has had their number as of late. In the last two seasons, the Sharks have won seven of their nine meetings and outscored the Oilers 25-14 in their five meetings last year.
It’s always been tough for the Oilers to win in San Jose but this Sharks team is not as dominant as they once were. I think this is going to be a very close game tonight.
