After splitting their first two games of their road trip, the Oilers will look to end their eastern swing with a win this morning in Pittsburgh. They’ll be taking on a Penguins team that is 8-5-0 on the season and has been gaining momentum as of late.

In their last two games, they’ve outscored their opposition 10-1 and they’re getting some added help this morning as Evgeni Malkin will make his return to the lineup after missing almost all of the regular season with an injury. For the Oilers, while they’re currently sitting first in the Pacific Division, there is still a bit of an uneasy feeling around the fan base. Their play has been inconsistent over the last couple of weeks and they continue to not get scoring from their bottom-six.

Their goaltending has been great though and Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl have been out of this world. They’ll need to continue that level of play as they head into a big month of November that will see them play nine games against division opponents.
