The Oilers will be looking to avoid the sweep as they wrap up their two-game set against the Winnipeg Jets tonight at Rogers Place. Edmonton has played seven two-game sets this year and has only been swept once. They’re currently one point back of the Jets in the North Division so stealing a pair of points off them tonight will go a long way. Of course, every game this year is huge considering they all have the potential to be four-point swings but coming off a loss, I would say tonight’s game is a little bit more important.

There is no shortage of storylines heading into this one. Dave Tippett’s choice of starting goaltender is one of them, also a potential change in the team’s top six is also something to keep an eye on. Connor McDavid also has a shot at history, which is something I explained in today’s Pre Game Podcast (brought to you by YEG Burger & Nation Beer)!
