The Red Wings have reportedly set their eyes on adding a forward and defenseman in free agency and their defenseman is Patrik Nemeth according to TSN’s Frank Seravalli.
Patrik Nemeth is heading to the #RedWings on a two-year deal with a nice raise from the $2.5 million he made last year.

Nemeth, 27, has spent the past two seasons with the Colorado Avalanche where he registered 25 points in 142 games.
Nemeth not only gives the Wings a physical element to their blueline, but he also provides veteran cover heading into next summer which has Mike Green, Trevor Daley, and Jonathan Ericsson set to become free agents. One thing to note about Nemeth is that he was benched by the Avs during the playoffs but he appears to be a reliable third pair defenseman.
