This week's Taylor Hall trade made waves across the NHL.

A star moving from a bottom-feeder to a contender is always big news.

" Following the NBA more closely with this Raptors run has truly opened my eyes to how great a league it is," Hall tweeted on May 31.

"There's plenty of space for enhancement, "he stated." Not just in one specific area, however I think there are great deals of things you can look at what other leagues are doing and we're not."

The NHL's incomes have increased drastically over the last 25 years, and the league has been attempting to grow its brand more just recently with games in Europe and China. Any significant growth internationally would, naturally, indicate more money for owners and gamers.

"We're on our way and I believe the video game and item we can provide in the long-lasting is going to pay off," Subban stated. "I've seen improvements because I've remained in the league. I'm pleased with the way things are going.

"We just need to continue to move it in the best direction."
