When the bodies exist, the Golden Knights need to discover the lanes to get pucks through.

They've been inconsistent at it up until now in this series.

Vegas has the huge shot advantage, but much of the shots are coming from the outdoors or where Khudobin has a direct line of sight. The Golden Knights' shooters not just need to choose the best areas to shoot from, but the right moment to shoot-- hard when the Stars are attempting to pester them off the puck.

"You've got to put the puck in a spot for the forwards to get a rebound and you've got to aim for specific functions," Vegas defenceman Zach Whitecloud stated. "But as far as our back end, we trust our forwards to get to the web and they're doing a great task and it's on us to get pucks through, get them through quickly and get them through at the correct times and provide a possibility to have the first opportunity for a tip and certainly 2nd chances, too."

Do that and the Golden Knights can extend the series. Fail and the Stars will be headed to the Stanley Cup Final.

Given little opportunity against Colorado in the 2nd round of the playoffs, the Stars pushed the Avalanche around and right back to the Rockies. Anton Khudobin leads method

"As we've gone here, we've continued to find ways to win and that shows you're an excellent team," Stars centre Andrew Cogliano stated Sunday. Khudobin has actually been a huge reason the Stars lead Vegas 3-1, annoying the Golden Knights with one incredible save after another."He's going to fight best till the end," Stars coach Rick Bowness stated."You've got to put the puck in a spot for the forwards to get a rebound and you've got to shoot for specific functions," Vegas defenceman Zach Whitecloud said.
