Welcome to another edition of Throwback Thursday!

On this day in 2015, the Jets franchise played their first playoff game since 2007.

The game saw the Jets squaring up against the Anaheim Ducks, where they gave up three straight goals to fall 4-2. The Jets eventually got swept by the Ducks in four games.

Winnipeg was in tough against a Ducks team that cruised through the first two rounds of the playoffs only to fall to the Chicago Blackhawks in seven games.

The Jets had a strong season, however. They posted a 43-26-13 record led by second-year bench boss Paul Maurice. Andrew Ladd, Blake Wheeler, Bryan Little and a 21-year-old Mark Scheifele led the way up front, while Dustin Byfuglien, Toby Enstrom, Mark Stuart and Tyler Myers held things down on the back end.

In net, Ondrej Pavelec and Michael Hutchinson held down the fort.
